Parent Services is dedicated to helping seniors stay in their own home as long as possible by assisting them with the basic elements of daily living that they can no longer perform for themselves.
Our goal is to improve the quality of life of those facing the realities of aging. In effect, we become surrogate children. In every instance, our first concern is for your parents’ needs. We show our concern with warmth, caring and respect for their dignity, while we work to enrich their lives.
Our Care Plan is created from a thorough, in-home evaluation of the client
performed by a registered nurse and a senior care coordinator. We assess their physical needs as well as their quality of life and how they accomplish activities of daily living.
The assessment will be conducted in a dignified, warm manner, with as little inconvenience as possible. You may choose the time and have anyone you wish present; although, it is not necessary to have someone else there.
If living at home appears to be too difficult for your parents, we will recommend placement in an appropriate community. The adult communities range from independent living, to assisted living, to skilled care. Our services will advise you through the process and assist you with the transition.
We also coordinate and manage the services available in our community for all of our elderly clients. The fees for the services themselves, such as: companions, nurse’s aides, physical therapy, transportation, meals, housekeeping, etc., are additional and are billed at market rates. When a service is covered by Medicare, we use Medicare providers and/or assist you in the proper method of documenting your claim for reimbursement.
